Is God about to start his Plymouth?
The Bible says he drove them out of the garden in his Fury.

The KJV Bible says, “So he drove out the man …” Fury is not even used in Genesis 3:14.

“Adam,” word translated as “man,” is not the Hebrew noun for an adult male human. “Adam,” with or without an initial capital “A,” just means any human or more than one human. “Adam” is spelled the same way in the plural as in the singular.

LORD God called every human by the name of “Adam.” See Genesis 5:2.

The 1st human did not call the 2nd human “Eve.” The 2nd human was named “Khavah” by the 1st one. That word means “living.”

Apparently, the KJV translators took what the Greek word Paul used looked like and just wrote it as Eve.” The Greek word looks like Eva but the middle letter in Greek looks like a v but is pronounced as “u.”

    Joe Allen Doty:

I too looked up the bible passage in Genesis before I congratulated doctortoon on his pun. I thought it would be petty for me to mention that the word “fury” was not mentioned.

Doctortoon’s comment seemed to be nothing more than a little fun. Thank you for your attempts at keeping the mood somber as was intended by this comic strip.
