Chubb to Fred — you need to take your pill, especially if it is a deworming one; worms not caught at small stage become SNAKES!

Put a dab of peanut butter on a deli-thin slice of turkey. Press the pill into the PB and fold the turkey around it. We have four dogs and this never fails. And it’s a lot cheaper than any commercial pill hider.

Yup. It was just like an owl pellet: all cleaned off of whatever it was in / on and ptui, back on the floor. Second time around wasn’t so easy. :)

Same for my cats. Plus they’d hide for 3 days afterwards. Makes me glad they are indoor cats and don’t need medication much

My 145 lb Bull Mastiff would take his vitamins pills without the camouflage, but any other pill he required it be hidden in some type of food.

My mom’s Bassets got the pills in meatballs. Mandy would work it around in her mouth and… spit! right on the floor.

I don’t know if dogs can have applesauce but the man whatever his name is should try it I heard applesauce was good for making the pill go down

My three are EXPERT pill sputters. We have run the gamut from sausages and meatballs to peanut butter to cream cheese to Apple jelly, and just about anything in between. No soap. Bassets are smart. And, those noses can detect pills hidden in ANYTHING.
