The vet will tell Fred to get more exercise, have a better diet, i.e., stop eating sausage from the kitchen table, and he’ll be ok.

We walk by the vet every day and Boss Bailey always wants to go in and visit. He really liked the people at the blood donors’ clinic, too. But he got disqualified from donating. If you have a big dog (75 lbs+) check around. Just like humans, there’s always a shortage of canine blood donors.
