My wife always insists on making something new or exotic that she’s missing two ingredients for, makes substitutions and then wonders why it sucks…I can get at least a week on the couch with one of those.

This could also be called “When my sisters were learning to cook!” Oh, the memories this strip recalls.

I’d ask her to show me the recipe in the cookbook and the pic of said recipe. It might be good for all you know. Maybe not.

The chicken sounds good. It’s just roasted chicen - za’atar is a kind of seasoning. and with fattoush (an herb, vegetable and toasted bread salad)

You mean ya don’t want any dead fowl with a shi-load of seasonings to EAT????
What are you, some kind of COMMUNIST?

Sounds like we have a fine bunch of male cooks here. I’m makin’ a cajun roast pork this weekend. Chew on that!
