Maybe he’s talking about those chocolate boxes comic Jim Gaffigan mentions – where you find the one filled with toothpaste.

He’d probably prefer some Chocolate Frogs… Of course, it’s the card you really want.

I dunno. Given the rest of @davbart92663’s comment I suspect he’s saying it sarcastically.

I think too flavorful. There were a lot of things I could not stand the taste of as a kid because of the heightened sense of smell or the increased sensitivity to bitterness: honey, cough drops, brussel sprouts, black liquorice/anise, etc. One thing I also hated was orange or raspberry plus chocolate. Now I love that combination.

I got a box of alcohol-filled chocolates. I have to keep them out of my daughter’s reach.

Forget boutique chocalates, but don’t settle for rubbish though!

Choose Mondelēz International owned brands such as Suchard, etc.

Lindt & Sprüngli have a factory in the US too.

Cooked spinach can be decent if you don’t just steam it plain, but saute it with half a ton of garlic and a little anchovy paste, and serve it with grated cheese. Of course, there will be people who say it’s not as good for you that way. That’s their problem.

Ironically, my hubby hated Hersey’s and the cheap stuff so much that he’d only eat chocolate frozen (can’t taste the rancid coco butter that way as it melts at 96 F), until I got him to try Godiva or first v-day as a couple. That he still likes ;)
