Jef, I dare you to do a flashback to when she was a teasing tart back in college…..No doubt she would have been a strong headed young woman….

DWFNC would dissolve that paper cup, she must be drinking something weaker.

I don’t know what DWFNC is, but at least it’s not Vending Machine coffee in a Poker Fun cup.

Fundraising idea – teacher coffee mug "garage sale ". Parents buy the mugs to recycle back to different teachers and the school /library /art department /etc gets the profits!

As famous coffee drinker I have had the same problem, finally had to say something at a family gathering

Not the biggest fan of the fancy stuff either, people are always giving me those overpriced bags of that nasty Starbucks stuff

A whole big can of the stuff I use to make my Nuclear Coffee costs less than those little bags

At my school they should have suggested the students buy textbooks. But then that would called attention to the problem and stirred the masses.

Unless coffee is written on the thing, it is a mug. Tea Mug, Juice Mug, Hot Chocolate Mug, Water Mug, Guinness Mug….

“Tart” sounds offensive, but I agree that a flashback with Mrs. Olsen as a young adult does seem like a superb idea. And since Mr. Spaetzle (the principal) is in the same age frame, perhaps they could now each other since college.

Unfortunately I don’t think Jef Mallett reads the comments here (at least I have never seen him replying) because I bet he would have a blast drawing such a flashback.

I just had a sudden thought: get her one of those reusable thermos cups. The ones that look just like a paper coffee cup.

Too bad this comic is so verbally focused. I’d like to see that hazard in action.

Now a tart used in your context is one who “puts out easily.” So you may want to reconsider the usage.
