Just keeping Caulfield up to snuff. Genius’ need to be challenged on a regular basis to keep their ‘edge’

A bit like those ‘round robin’ e-mails I get sent with
“Mother Theresa started this e-mail in 1943. It has never stopped since then and has brought good luck and blessings to all who have forwarded it on. Don’t be the one to break the chain! Send it to 15 people within the next seven minutes and something wonderful will happen to you tomorrow. Send it to 20 people, and there will be world peace. Send it to 25 and that funny buzzing sound in your ear will go away” and so on and so forth.

And I think – “Mother Theresa” . . . "e-mail " . . . “1943” . . . and just wonder which idiot starts these things (I know which idiots send them on – their names are on the top of the e-mail that came to me).

BTW – even without forwarding these bits of drivel, something wonderful has happened to me every morning so far – I’ve woken up!

I hate those ‘Forward this email/ share this Facebook post’ stuff. I especially hate the ones that try to guilt you into a response, like the ones that say ‘I bet most of you won’t share this! I hope I’m wrong!’. I would hope that proof of my friendship or patriotism or support of a certain worthy cause would be something a little more substantial than whether or not I share a Facebook post.

You actually READ those pain-in-the-neck posts/emails? Why?!!

A plane crashes on the USA/Mexico border. Where do you bury the survivors?

This is good! He’s going to need those critical thinking skills to avoid being shanghaied onto the football team in middle school. Then they will dump him into classes with no books or teaching in order to pay for the expanded football team. Try fighting your way out of that quagmire later in college. In college it will be expected that he be prepared. But how? From football? Surely you’re joking!

Check out Caulfield’s posture; his facial expression; his gaping maw. There’s urgency there. Proving how smart you are isn’t important to the characters in “Frazz”?

Saying “Happy Memorial Day!” seems kind of awkward….

I rarely read them now – but occasionally I like to see what sort of junk people have come up with this time.

Sparkly multi-coloured roses, or anything with angels or fairies gets an immediate delete.

They started as chain mail. Dump it.
