If only Caulfield would use his genius for good, and not evil . . .

It is for good. However, it is tinged with cynicism, and always with his tongue in cheek!

Evil??? I don’t think it’s evil. I think it is right up there with other burning questions such as:

Why do we park in drive ways and drive on parkways???

We are still stiving for an answer.

If you look up “way” in a dictionary you’ll find that “route” is pretty much a synonym for “way’s” primary definition. (I’m guessing there’s an “r” after the “t” in “stiving.”)

You are either twelve, or you have not been paying attention to these pressing questions.

Ways are routes. Parkways typically are taking you through a park or other scenic way. Driveways were recent inventions to give a car a firm route back to the barn, she’d, or garage. Prior to that the horses and wagons didn’t wear so heavy on the ground. Modern housing with the attached garages have shrunk the significance.

Just give Caulfield a TARDIS, so he doesn’t have to worry about relative size anymore!

Will the teacher ever learn to stop asking the question, “Any Questions?” Especially when Caulfield is in the room.

    Now, that’s a Caulfield question!

Caulfield isn’t the problem — the problem is a school system that doesn’t have an interest in creative questioning.

Caulfield should count himself lucky that he has a teacher that predates the dumbing down of the profession in the 1990s.

You could have answered the question without being rude.
