    Psychologists&psychiatrist really know how to bend time. Every time I’ve visited them it takes 30~45 minutes and the bill is for 60 minutes. :s

    Lawyers, too. There was a joke some years ago about a lawyer trying to enter heaven and St. Peter said he didn’t look like a man 300 years old. The lawyer protested that his real age was (something I can’t remember) and St. Peter said that he was going by his hours billed.

    Frazz isn’t often so wrong. People who charge by the hour seldom are efficient at time management.

    @Richard S. Russell

    Wanna bet? Running for an hour treats my ADD far better than Ritalin or Adderall ever did. ;)

    Never needed a psychologist, so if there weren’t your comments, I, for sure, wouldn’t have understood this strip … :)

    Haven’t you heard of the theory of relativity? That’s why shrinks spend so much time on family relationships.

    @jerak

    Have you tried running for 50 minutes? You might be surprised by the results!

    “An hour” of a doctor’s time includes his 10 minutes to write notes, prepare for next session, etc., so each person only gets 50 minutes.

    As legal professional, my time is broken down into 6 minute blocks or tenths of an hour.

    @uh-oh

    The point was is that she would get her 60 minutes even if it really is 50. See above on charging hourly an not getting the full time you pay for.
