    Yah, if you want to steal something, don’t risk jail time for chump change.

    Go into Politics where you can steal some real money!

    I dont know, there are some that retired at the right time and are sitting in style somewhere in the sun in a very large villa…You just have to know when to stop and not get too greedy…That’s the biggest mistake these guys make who are in jail…

    Jail time does seem like a good option when you reach old age. Prisoners seem to get better care than some poor folk in nursing homes.

    My wife was a cook at our county jail for a while. She said there were guys who got arrested deliberately in the winter months just to get the meals and a warm bed.

    @Loy Wells

    Only problem with that is the farmers don’t want to employ them. It’s cheaper, faster, and more consistent to employ machines and skilled operators. Also many prisoners resist efforts to make them work as they see most work programs benefiting their captures.

    When you get out you can apply for a job as a guard and claim your first hand on-the-job training as a plus….. this could help you with your parole officer……….
