   And with the fees that the mega-banks charge, that balance drops even further. I have 23¢ in a large regional bank that took over the bank where I used to live, but they have no branches where I now live.
   They haven’t touched the balance in 2-1/2 years, but I just got a letter from them yesterday saying that they would charge $3/month as of March 1, 2013 for printed and mailed statements. It only costs 45¢ in postage and perhaps pennies for the paper, envelope and ink combined.

   Not to mention that the boss, or at least a company rep, actually acknowledged your work. Now, they no longer even distribute earnings statements in person.

   Add on ‘Wtih the use of our Debit Card’ to the mix to make this 100% Accurate. Most youngsters never carry cash as hey carry a debot card or pre-paid reloadable card
