Frank and Ernest, created by Bob Thaves, chronicles the antics of two "everyman" characters who are anything but ordinary! They appear in different settings, time periods - even manifest as things and creatures other than people. The variety in the strip extends to their observations about a wide number of subjects.

Pluto’s wondering why Goofy talks and wears clothes like a human while he still has to act like a dog.

Just one question:Who exactly has “demoted” pluto from a planet to … something else … and who do this guys think they are? In this f@$%&#§ old and wide universe, on an earth, where zillions of humans have lived, why do THEY have the right to “demote” a planet?

@Johnny Potseed
Man creates God in his own image and therefore has the right(s) to do anything.
Does the Universe care ? … Not one bit …

I would guess the scientists of the International Astronomical Union agreed on reclassifying Pluto as a Kuiper Belt object.
Anyway, Mercury can also boast the longest day. And Venus can boast the hottest temps. Earth can say it’s home to life. Though any level of intelligent life is yet to be seen.

Astronomy Magazine had a writeup of the IAU meeting that demoted Pluto. Apparently most of the Astronomers and Astrophysicists didn’t support the change, but only a relative handful were able to vote on the matter.
.
It was an arbitrary and capricious action (shades of the Administrative Practices Act) by the IAU. Particularly in light of the fact that the definition for a planet is arbitrary and capricious to start with— the term means “wanderer” and these rocks and gas balls out there are planets because people called them planets. There was no actual science involved in renaming Pluto and the other 4 newly discovered planets.

Personally, I think of Pluto as still a planet and the new planet they discovered, whatever that is, is the tenth planet. That’s my opinion on the matter.
