    Not exactly commonplace in petroleum-based lubricating hydrocarbons.
    Not particularly good in the triglyceride department, either.
    Polyunsaturated oils lower both HDL and LDL.
    Monounsaturated oils lower LDL and increase HDL.
    Unlike the prior two types of triglycerides, no study has been performed to date that indicates a link between saturated fat or artificially-saturated fat (trans-fats) and increase in LDL. It’s simply “assumed” like so many other things in “science” today.
    A hundred years from now, scientists are going to be laughing at a lot of the activist ideas pushed by the “it must be” brand of “science” of the last 15 years.
