    Well, that’s one curse to be a third child… specially being a genius.

    Yes Jason has to shoulder things his lesser older siblings get away with.

    @Jason

    Try… “Going over to Marcus’s house to work on a school assignment/project together.”

    Usually, though, it’s the opposite — the youngest gets away with stuff that would have gotten me (the oldest) the death penalty. Nope, I have zero sympathy for the baby in the family!

    Jason: “Can I go over to Marcus’ house to work on our cold-fusion, perpetual-motion, faster-than-light machine?”

    Mom: “Sure dear, as long as you’re back home before dark.”

    Jason: “If we’re successful, I’l be back home before I leave.”

    It’s possible to be too smart, Jason.

    Must be hell being Jason. He is clearly destined for great things, unlike his dum dum siblings. Yet, he is perpetually trapped as a young child in comic strip time — never able to grow into a rich, successful adult.

    Jason’s cross -to-bare is his preciosity.

    Nonsense. No one can be too smart. One can easily be too ignorant and any level of stupidity is dangerous.
