Reminds me of that one Sunday “Garfield” strip where it’s raining on Garfield (who’s chastising Odie’s likeable personality) and not on Odie.

Kites are flying straight up? They must be standing in a tornado!

Why don’t they just use umbrellas; it’s easier?

if the rain is falling straight down like that then their shouldn’t be enough wind to keep a kite aloft.

What was the name of that character in L’il Abner that always had a rain cloud over his head?

Hey. Odie doesn’t make trouble for God, so God doesn’t make trouble for him (apologies to Mad Magazine).

But not cooler. They do it for the same reason the geeks on “The Big Bang Theory” enabled strangers on the other side of the world to mess with their lights online: “Because we can.”
I doubt the lemonade tastes good with rainwater.

    You never know.
    .
Our tap water has a barnacle like creature that likes to make holes in the thin copper tubing that the most reciently built houses around here have in them.
    .
Barnacle-free water in the lemonade, please.

Cartoon physics. Even if they could keep them up the rain and wind would go around them and still pelt those two.
