    You want excitement, Paige? Buy some piranhas… or Siamese Fighting fish!
    Or buy an electric eel …and throw it in the bathtub with Jason!

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    I had a piranha once (called Julio Gonzalez), boy that was exciting when chasing gupies.

    Another possible reason: It makes her realize that her life could be much worse, so she might as well embrace even the unfun parts.

    I understand Paige. Me and Geometry did not resonate. Fell flat to me.

    Like Paige, I have a fish that keeps me company in my room. I don’t have an aquarium, but I do have a beta in a bowl.

    The high school councilor told me that Algebra 1 and Geometry was the same thing, so after taking Geometry in 1 semester, she told me to take Algebra 2 the next semester. That was a total failure. They wouldn’t let me change it when the teacher found out I didn’t have the foundation course for Algebra.

    I liked math up until then.

    I never liked math, I never clicked with it ever. Couldn’t pass Algebra One or Geometry so no Alg Two and Trig.
