   My daughter is like that. One time I needed to keep her home, and she was upset because she knew she had a test that day. I actually had to talk to the teacher to assure my daughter that she could take the test when she went back in!

   Nobody stays home when they’re sick at my office unless they’re virtually on their deathbed, but I think it’s horrible to bring all those germs to work.

    I remember being sick once and so upset that staying home ment that I wouldn’t get perfect attendence that year. (the kids with PA, no disciplin problems, and at least a C average got a treat day where they’d take us to the movies or the pool or skating rink)
