He’ll lose count.

I agree with Paige. The game works perfectly. The only quirk is that Jason didn’t finish it sooner, so he could go out and buy the next edition, assuming there was one.

I don’t understand wasting that much time on the same level. After a certain amount of time, it’s not fun anymore. Doesn’t the game have cheats for this sort of thing? Check a walkthrough, Jason. Maybe you’re missing a critical item you need to defeat him.

I got stuck while playing The Longest Journey. I’m in chapter 12, and need to find the oxygen filter, but in order to find it, you have to click on a specific pixel on the screen. I’ve tried clicking for two hours, and just gave up. Next game!

I’ve only ever played a few video games in my life and usually only at parties.

Jason is a dedicated player. He wants to succeed. Maybe he will find out in that level you don’t fight you out wit the red ball of smashitude.

Sounds like this is setting Jason up for something…I’ll bet Eileen Jacobson gets past the Red Orb Guardian…or maybe Paige?

They didn’t use cheats back then and walkthroughs cost a lot of money for the books… today, both are plentiful and free. :-s

Huh. With a walkthrough, I didn’t take that long.
The game I gave up on most recently is “Xenoblade Chronicles,” because a certain boss is too strong even when marked moderately easy compared to my hard-ground level.

@skeeterhawk
Is that Paige or Andy?

I never get past level four or five on ANY video game.

re: ewalnut
I agree. A challenge is good, but there are games that make some task impossible and at most I might look up the walkthrough.
