Sometimes they fly. One summer I caught a pygmy short-horned lizard on a local hill (just below snowline around 6800’ or so). Kept it during the summer and got rid of part of the ant problem out front (50+ per day down that little guy). Not long after capturing it, I was moving the lizard and it leaped out of my hands. I shot my hands out to try to catch it, did it a little too fast and scooped that poor lizard into the air. It landed on the piano keyboard cover and slid down the lenghth of it until it bonked it’s little snout at the end.

Yes, some lizards have been known to sail for short distances. The Iguana isn’t one of them.

They can sail for very long distances .. if they’re on a wind-powered boat. ;)

Jason power can certainly launch lizards into fantastic leaps.

Wasn’t there a comic that had Quincy fantasizing about Paige?
prfesser said, 8 months ago
Actually, even if Quincy is a reptile, it does not seem appropriate to go tossing your pets around.
Bad Jason. Bad, BAD, Jason.

And yet Quincy ended up on your face because you didn’t get out of the way, Paige.
skeeterhawk said, 8 months ago
I’m sure it happened pretty quick. But I’m surprised Quincy didn’t ‘secrete’ something on her.

The Quince-meister, up close and personal. I like twitbrain though. Good comeback.

little orphan annie, is that still relevant today? i mean, daddy warbucks has to have bill gates wealth. does that mean she has more stuff than the hiltons, new iphones, and stuff? and, warbucks was a fdr supporter back then, is he an obama supporter now?

Check it out.

@vwdualnomand
Do you ever read “Annie” as it is now called?
davidf42 said, 8 months ago
@vwdualnomand
Ummmm, are you sure about that? Harold Gray, the originator of Little Orphan Annie, hated FDR. That’s a point in the Broadway play and the subsequent movie that is totally contrary to the original LOA. And I’m sure that Gray’s politics would not have been tolerant to Obama.
cjcampbell said, 8 months ago
This is true. Gray thought FDR was interfering too much in business. Daddy Warbucks is a heroic figure — the perfect capitalist. Gray would have despised Obama, whom he would have regarded as a New Deal “do-gooder” a sniveling failure, and a foreign policy weakling.
