The way the Niners played last Sunday, Paige could probably start for their defense …

Peter could probably star for their defense.

But Paige, think of the helmet hair! Might just be easier to hike the ball down the nearest garbage disposal. Which in your case, would be Quincy. But hey, that’s just my opinion.

… oh, lookit the headline, bet I know which cartoonist is being credited! Hehe.

Aurion, you have a good eye. I’m struggling, though. “Mcguire credits hits (?) to cartoonist’s ??”
If it’s Mark Mcguire he’s referring to, the credit goes to chemistry, not the cartoonist.

“McGuire credits HRs to Cartoonist’s Coaching.” At the time of this strip, the chemical element wasn’t public. In retrospect, Bill Amend may wish he had chosen a different athlete.

I don’t think she cares about helmet hair right now, she just doesn’t want a pic with a black eye.

when I was in Junior High, I got hit in the face with a ‘rouge’ football during morning recess. Made a impression with the guys for I didn’t cry, and had a nasty bruise right next to my eye. The next time I impressed them was when they found out that this girl could also play football.

With the way Peter play sports, yyyguy?! Face it, any NCAA or NFL team he plays on will have a winless season!

Who’s bright idea was it for picture day to occur during football season? Far too many, “Ouch! My Nose” going on.
