Post-modern irony has been having a Roman holiday for sixty years now. Where will it all end?

There’s also something to be said for copyright infringement and years of costly legal battles, Roger. Although… nostalgia seems an appropriate argument, given the fact this ‘Classics’ version of FoxTrot has essentially been (and will continue to be) a big ol’ rerun.

Okay, my money’s on Quincy eating the plush tiger interloper before the next arc begins.

Calvin won’t like it if Quimby eats Hobbs.

Anyone else notice how Jason is drawn with a Calvin-style mouth?

I love Jason’s mouth in this strip.

If he were a true C&H rip-off, he wouldn’t say Hobbes was stuffed, now would he?

Parody and satire are protected as free speech.
Cartoonists spoofing cartoonists is legal, and funny.

Did Bill watterson make a cameo draw? Besides having Hobbes and the shirt, only two things make Jason not look like Calvin: 1) Calvin doesn’t wear glasses and 2) Jason’s hair should be like in a cow-lick.

Nowadays, cartoonists incorporate each other’s characters all the time. SA while back, Lio resurrected Calvin (who had died in a sledding accident, and was just a skeleton next to a stuffed tiger).
