Titanic revisited, the story of a ship that sinks…and…sinks…and…sinks…no matter how many times you see it…it sinks. You know, now that I think about it, watching Leonardo drown isn’t…such a bad thing.

    SPOILER ALERT:
The Titanic sinks, Pearl Harbor gets attacked, Hitler survives the bombing attempt,… Let’s see… any other movie surprises? Oh yes, Darth Vader is Luke’s father.

King Kong is shot off the empire state building, and Tim Allen will save Christmas for one mere year, barely.

When I met my first wife, she had seen the original Star Wars over 40 times. This was in the days before home video. She spent a summer going to the matinee nearly every day, sometimes two showings. When my son was growing up, they would watch the VCR tape almost weekly. He says the both know the dialog word for word. This was after the divorce, somehow I’m glad I missed it.

If she goes to the theatres twice a day, every day, for 5 days, at the theatre i work at, that would cost 125 CDN, not including overpriced concesions, but th e free refills on larges might save some money

I went to see a matinee of “L.A. Confidential” on my day off while Titanic was playing. There was a gaggle of teenaged girls who came out of Titanic with their mascara streaked down to their chin, went into the bathroom to wash up, then turned around to go right back and watch the darned thing again. Apparently they weren’t the only ones!

I loved that movie, but I could never watch it again, too sad an end. But I loved it when the necklace got thrown over board. However it could have been given to her grandchildren, as well. Bought them a house, or an education, something good. Just some random thoughts.

Titanic huge gross profit. Who knew they only needed six people to go and see it, over and over and over and over, etc. on into infinitum.

Rosebud is a sled. Bruce Willis is dead in the 6th Sense. The Planet Of The Apes is Earth in the future. Soilent Greens is People. Ernest saves christmas, goes to jail, and is scared stupid. Simone is a computer simulation.
