I once thought that I was ‘decent’ at FPS games, so went online for either Unreal Tournament or Quake, and got my lunch handed to me by everyone playing. Their moves were so quick and precise, I thought I was playing against the bots set to the highest level. Fortunately I do better against local gaming friends, and bots set just to ‘experienced’.

Here’s an idea – go ride your bike or take a walk.

Why bike or walk if you can ride a whooly mammoth or superjump?

Many of those online have found ways to cheat and get away with it, I wouldn’t feel too bad about it.

I wish I’d thought of that back when we were “picking sides” for recess kick-ball in grade school. “For a candy bar I will go play by myself and nobody will have to pick me.” It probably would have worked but I might have gotten fat! lol
