If Jesus Christ was able to fast for 40 days, can Peter Fox fast for five days without a temptation from a single morsel?

Considering that it’s Andy’s cooking we’re talking about, I don’t think there’s any morsel that she could tempt him with!

Probably not. Peter Fox is an eating machine…

Well fasting for more than a day can be problematical.

My children would go to a friends for dinner if they saw an eggplant in the house .

Beetloaf sounds better than tofuloaf, but not as good as pickled beets or roast beets. I wouldn’t eat roast beets out of season though.

why should we have turkey on tday? i go for a bucket of chicken, a large pizza, and some takeout chinese. i can get turkey sandwiches throughout the year. and, if someone mentions dining with family and friends, only if it is norman rockwell.

Pickled beets are fine, beet loaf? Not so much.
I’m totally with the kids here and I grew up vegetarian.
Apparently, the idea of actually adding decent spices to dishes is a lost art for most who cook vegetarian or vegan.
It’s a healthy diet and it’s too bad that most who try it seem to have the same allergy to adding a decent amount of seasonings to recipes to actually give them palatable flavor and smell.

I don’t mind seeing my family at those get togethers. It is nice since I rarely get to see them otherwise. A pleasant time and lots of free eats. Yum!

I am a carnivore, I would die trying to eat Andy’s cooking. Besides that we are having a non traditional Thanksgiving; I am making gumbo, cannot go wrong that way.

I have a roommate who is a vegetarian and knows very well how to add spices and seasonings to dishes to enchance their flavor. I myself am not vegetarian but will eat vegetarian on occasion simply because it’s easier that way with my roommate.

Uh oh, I think Andy is cooking up a new recipe that’s going to send her husband and kids running.
