Dorky is in the eye of the beholder…
    .
But in Andy’s clueless case, it’s a good bet that Paige is right.

A few years ago, I wrote on a cousin’s Facebook that I was sorry to hear the death of his sister’s husband (the source was from another cousin during Facebook chat). Then he wrote to me saying he deleted the post because he didn’t want that much sympathy from his other friends.

That’s odd, Paige was in high school only a month ago(!)

From what I’ve heard of this oversharing problem and posts getting people fired, expelled, or even arrested; knowing she’s cared for is the least of her problems.

I never post anything “serious” on my friend’s walls. If I want to discuss serious stuff, I send it to their private inboxes, and save their walls for jokes, funny pics and stuff like that. Avoids lots of awkward situations…

A parent should ALWAYS post dorky stuff on their kids’ walls. That way everyone knows that the parents are watching.

A parent’s primary responsibility is to be an embarrassment to his children.

Paige is a freshman in high school (9th grade — her high school lasts for four years, not three), which correctly puts her at 14 and just about to start high school this time of year. Remember that Bill Amend’s characters never age, so Peter is eternally 16, Paige will always be 14, and .Jason will always be 10.

The thing is, kids Paige’s age don’t want their friends to think that they’re still babies who constantly have to be watched by Mommy and Daddy. In other words, Andy, Paige’s friends don’t need to know that you love her — in fact, they’re not supposed to know that you even exist!

^From your grammar and spelling, it looks like you flunked 5th grade. Oh well, at least you learned about sex.
