Why not also make sure your parents’ automobile(s) need a wash, Jason?

I think Jason’s been hanging out with Peter too much.

Huh. I expected something on The Hunger Games. I must admit Amend really dropped the ball on that John Carter strip.

@DerkinsVanPelt218
It’s too early for a strip on The Hunger Games. The Sunday strips aren’t just put together on Saturday; they’re actually drawn weeks, if not months, in advance. Therefore, there was no way for Bill to do a Sunday strip about the movie that would show up now, since the movie only just came out yesterday. We’ll probably see a reference to it in a Sunday strip a month or two from now.

He forgot about washing the outside of the house.

I think the right Mom reply would be, okay, you are responsible for those from now on. I will check on you each week. ;)

Considering it was raining in the Bay Area in California when I wrote this and I went out hours ago to wash the surface of my car outside with a sponse with some car soap…

In college I lived in a copperative where we rotated the cleaning chores. Once a week at supper we’d go around the table and tell what we’d done on our assignment for the week. One snowy night a guest said "I was in charge of the lawn, and noticed the snow was looking dingy, so I had a fresh coat put on.

Up here in the Seattle area we know it’s Spring because the rain gets a bit warmer.
