He’s a left-handed shortstop in one, and a right-handed pitcher in another…

Not exactly a Honus Wagner tobacco card. Anyway, Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards are more my thing. Other folks my age seem to like Magic The Gathering. And Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids cards seem to be coming back.

I volunteer at a thrift shop. A very interesting donation was some boxes of NHL cards… still in their sealed, plastic covering.

Peter’s so bad, he has to be a switch thrower. Hmm, this arm doesn’t work. The other one couldn’t be any worse ……….

Why are his eyes closed on every card?

Because if he actually looked at the target, he’d miss for sure. ;)

My brother had a Mickey Mantle rookie card, but my mom threw out all his “bubble gum” cards when he left for college.

Nice dream, Peter, but I don’t think it’ll happen in this comic script.

He looks like a lefty pitcher to me, can’t really tell by the glove because of the dot and I don’t think the leg lift is a true indicator, Peter is so bad as a pitcher I would believe he does the leg kick backwards….

Well he’s definitely lifting his LEFT leg, which means he’s throwing with this RIGHT arm.

He doesn’t want to be on a Benchwarmer trading card. Those are actually girly model cards!

He sure has no self esteem issues, unless it is an exaggerated one of his worth, so I wonder how much those cards cost him? See Dunnigan-Kreuger Effect.

I’m wondering what the big “H” is for on each card.

At one time there were switch pitchers as well as switch hitters.
