   Stores put out their Hallowe’en displays in late August/early September. What a racket! People buy all the good stuff early on, eat it, then buy the 2nd rate bleeep on the 31st to give to the Trick-or-Treaters.

   Then go back on Nov. 1 to buy all that’s left @ 50% off. Make room for the Christmas Candy displays.

    Garfield246 He retired from an everyday strip and just does Sundays now, if you want a daily dose get the Classics and be thankful he still does Sundays….
