   We had to wait an extra week for a new cartoon.

    I think the characters need to all age 1 year - it could add some more things for them to do and think about :)

    It’s the nature of comic strips. Even “For Better or for Worse” started keeping their characteras at the same age.

    I think For Better For Worse keeps their characters at the same age because she isn’t writing it anymore. That was what I remember hearing a few years ago after she and her husband (the dentist) were divorced.
