Nothing beats explosives or rockets. Things that go boom are cool.

cleokaya, here at the South Florida Renaissance festival, we get an annual visit from Doktor Kaboom.
His motto is “Nothing says science like KABOOM!”

When they’re done with the tree they can get the football off of the roof.

Nothing like a big BANG to get people’s attention…

Reminds me of the first week of science in our homeschool. After doing a series of baking soda & vinegar experiments, creating a variety of explosions, we went on to a different series of less exciting experiments. At the end of the school day, my son was arguing that we hadn’t done science yet. I reminded him of the experiment that we had done that day, and he said “But we haven’t had an explosion yet!”

No, have to put everything else in the tree in attempts to free the frisbee, It’s a Guy thing
tony_werewolf said, 4 months ago
and my brother just threw his shoes in the tree to get the frisbee down, thus loosing a shoe or two as well. silly boy. this would have been much more effective!

I wonder if Charlie Brown ever tried this approach with that pesky Kite-Eating Tree.

Hey, if they use a rocket to get a frisbee down, then another rocket to get the other rocket down, then another rocket to get the other rocket down, then another rocket to get the other other rocket down, won’t that take forever?
Josh said, 4 months ago
Yes, but Andy would let them do that, since it’ll keep them off video games. And who knows, there may be a lucky break and both of them fall back down.

comixer4eva: that’s what is called escalation. Look up MAD (mutually assured destruction) in wikipedia. I’m sure Jason edited the entry.

If they’d attached a line to the first rocket, they could try pulling it out of the tree now. It would have to be very strong, light line, but knowing those two they could find some. (Carbon rocket wire, maybe?)
