    Ah, the classic military-themed comic strip. (Seriously, though. Why aren’t there Marine, Navy or even Air Force-themed comic strips? It’s always the Army.)

    I once read where a Marine recounted that he was told during boot camp that one Marine was the equal of three soldiers in a fight. To test that theory, he went to a bar and picked on three soldiers. Got the living crap beaten out of him. Apparently, the DI wasn’t specific: He meant to say 1 Marine = 3 soldiers in a firefight.
