You know, Bob almost looks like Ned Flanders. Not to mention how dare he swindle an Army man (and the Army man’s family).

A number of US military bases maintain a “do not patronize” list.
If a business does wrong by a service member or their family, then the service member can file a complaint with the appropriate authorities on the base.
The authorities will conduct an investigation, and if they find that the business did indeed do wrong then they’ll be added to the list.
Service members and their families assigned to the base are forbidden from patronizing these businesses until conditions improve, which can be a major financial blow for the business.
The biggest test case was with the Smart Buy chain of rent-to-own retail stores. Enough soldiers at enough Army bases complained about usurious effective interest rates that the chain as a whole was pretty much black-listed. Suffice to say that it didn’t survive.
