In September of 1991, Mike Morgan began drawing For Heaven’s Sake!, a comic strip published in the religion section of The Macon Telegraph. The weekly cartoon celebrates the faith and pokes fun at the foibles of the characters who make up the congregation of "Mainline Memorial Church."

I always thought it was so my grad school could have a long weekend after two days of classes in BOTH semesters. (Started the Thursdays before Labor Day and before MLK Day. Which meant if your class met on Mondays only, the Drop/Add period was ended before your class met the first time.)
