In September of 1991, Mike Morgan began drawing For Heaven’s Sake!, a comic strip published in the religion section of The Macon Telegraph. The weekly cartoon celebrates the faith and pokes fun at the foibles of the characters who make up the congregation of "Mainline Memorial Church."

Jesus doesn’t vote. At the end of the Tribulation, He will be coming back and “rule them with an iron scepter.”
.
11 "I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
king of kings and lord of lords."— Revelation 19:11-16

actually, he said “i’m no part of the world, and my followers
are no part of the world”, meaning he AND christians would be
neutral as far as that type of thing goes…no armed forces,
no voting, etc.

He wouldn’t vote because he isn’t an American citizen.

@GoldenRoya
You mean he would have been out demonstrating. for taxpayer money to subsidize “art” featuring an image of Himself in a urinal?
/Funny, for how often “liberals” claim Christ as one, how few of them actually are Christian.

wouldn’t and couldn’t along with can’t are different. Wouldn’t is a choice.

I know many liberals and “real” scientists who are Christians. The wisecrack is even ill informed.

And the rush to have him join a political party means both sides don’t get who he is; a real person, his opinions based on his love of the Father, not on what any of us want him to be.

@Nabuquduriuzhur
He returns as the lion of Judah not the lamb of God. You don’t want to be here, no one does.

Do you know the context of that “Crucifixion in a Jar of Urine” signifies? The Catholic church favored the Death Squad families in Guatemala and El Salvador. I think it should have been blood and urine. But you will ignore this and bring it up again and again. Secretly supporting the Catholic church’s support of Death Squads.

Also Christianity like Judaism and Islam have no democracy or republicanism. They are divine dictatorships with appointed leaders.

And yet, living in a democratic republic, as Christians we have a responsibility to vote as Christian citizens—but as CHRISTIAN citizens. To support and pray for the government, and help to make it better.

Actually, He was a Jewish Carpenter who’s country was under Roman Rule and since he was not a Roman citizen He wouldn’t have had a vote at all. “Render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s and unto God what is God’s”

@furnituremaker
“Be ye in the world, but not OF the world” He wasn’t refering to politics or military service.
