    Isaiah 9:6

    Lynn’s Notes:

I have always been uncomfortable around guns — even toy guns. Aaron, like most boys, ran around with his friends shooting sticks or fingers or whatever they could find that was shaped like a firearm. When a relative sent him a realistic toy gun, he was thrilled and I was upset. If he had any gun at all, I thought it should be purchased by his parents and given to him along with a stern lecture about weaponry, war, and the seriousness of shooting living things.

When I was a kid I played with toy guns, don’t want a real one

I’m OK with other people owning guns, but there are some folks who qualify as “gun nuts” that make me a little nervous

My mother was always petrified of guns, but made sure that my brothers all had toy guns. Unfortunately, I wanted one, but she said that “girls don’t play with guns”. When I met my husband, for our first Valentine’s Day, he bought me a .22 rifle. I have a marksman’s medal and am an excellent shot. We teach our daughters firearm safety and responsibility and, when they’re a little older, taking them target shooting. (Incidentally, my husband is in law enforcement.)

I don’t know if I agree with the tolerance part, but M2MM is spot on with the rest……………

I must agree with her here. Guns should not be considered toys even the fake plastic ones if they look real. If you want your child to understand guns then show them the violence they can cause and the importance of wielding such power of life and death to another.

Also they ban for two reasons.
    1) Hateful insults like you did now.
    2) Cursing.
    -
I flagged your insult to M2MM however if you remove it so goes the flagging. Try to be less insulting and more civil. Please?
