Farley is a member of the family, too. Although a leg might not be the best piece to give him, nice chunk of meat without any bone would be best.

I don’t know my daughter once invited her dad and his wife and my second husband and his new wife and me to Thanksgiving……..I decided I would rather clean my oven so I lied and stayed home. But truly, I see my second husband and his wife at family functions about 3 or 4 times a year ever year, we are all friends.

    Lynn’s Notes:

This is the prayer my grandfather always said before a big meal. “For what we are about to receive, may the lord make us truly thankful.” We thought it was a great prayer. It was sincere. It was genuinely heartfelt, and it said what needed to be said — before the gravy got cold!

I’ll get to have two Christmas Dinners. With separate groups of family. I am a lucky duck this week.
