A little, quiet tapping, no. A lot of loud tapping, yes.

Tapping bothers some and not others.

    Lynn’s Notes:
During my coffee house days, I was often among the great and wanna-be greats of the folk music scene. One evening I joined a group of musician friends for beer and pizza. The young man sitting next to me was rapping constantly on the table, ignoring our pained expressions. Fed up, I put my hand over his the way a mother would silence a child. He was furious! Turned out he was the drummer for a famous group. He did stop tapping, however, for which everyone was grateful!

It’s definitely nicotine withdrawal. She has three choices. Leave the room, leave the house or send him out of the room or the house.

It is withdrawal. I believe that is why so many fail at trying to quit. It has been 10 years TODAY since I quit. I chewed on a lot of straws for months. Helped that everyone else smoked menthols which I didn’t like and refused to buy anymore.
