He was thinking about mom opening the door, not staying at a friends.

The beginning of the ‘latch-key kid’, of which I was a member. ;)

they should have talked about this before she went to work,on a “just in case” type of thing. Since I was a single mom my kids all knew to go to a neighbors house until I got home, which was only about 10 minutes after they did. The oldest also had a key to the house “just in case”.

I bet she’s pretty angry with him now.

Sadly, if a child goes to the wrong neighbor’s house, that child is never seen again.

That’s pretty dramatic. By the same “reasoning”, he could be snatched from the front yard as he’s waiting for his mom.

    Ah,common sense,where have you gone?
Dad,should have taught him basic survival skills, and reasoning.
Yah,this should have been discussed before,at a family meet.

Lessee—Lawrence’s mom is probably in bed with Ted, so Michael wouldn’t be welcome there.
And Gordo’s parents are both drunks, so Mike wouldn’t be welcome there, either.
Seems he has no other choice but to freeze in front of his own house!

    Lynn’s Notes:
We gave Aaron a key to the house, hoping he wouldn’t lose it. He did. The key was as much of a concern to him as his glasses, which he hated to wear. He lost them, he broke them, and he left them at home. The frustration his glasses caused was part of the reason why they never appeared in the strip! When he was finally old enough for contacts, he was overjoyed. Now that I too have to wear glasses, I can see how hard it was for an active, conservative kid to accept them.

He could’ve gone to Connie’s couldn’t he? Or Mrs. B (I can’t remember her name). Don’t they live close?

You are not making any friends for your comic by spammig every other comic.

And, BTW, you did not even make your link clickable.
