Since its debut in 1979, For Better or For Worse has touched comic strip readers as few cartoons ever do. Cartoonist Lynn Johnston’s eye for detail and her uncanny sense of what real parents and children struggle with daily are a big part of her success. The world has watched the Patterson family grow up in real time, and to many readers, the Pattersons feel like family!
Parents and children alike will relate to the obstacles that the Patterson family faces. Curfews, parent date nights, babysitting, pets and distractions are all hurdles that the Pattersons must overcome in order to enjoy each other as a family. They face the same obstacles that real life families do, which is what makes them so loveable.

Wouldn’t matter what was buried in it, there is a fresh dug hole to explore.

Elly is upset with Farley because:
a. Farley is digging up Frank the Fish.
b. Farley is getting dirty.
c. Farley is loose in the yard with no one else around.
d. Farley plush toys are not going to be in stock until December 15.
e. All of the above.

If they had buried the jewelry box/casket like they bury the caskets at the cemetery where I am supposed to be buried, they would have made a concrete box with a concrete lid to put the casket in.
Farley probably doesn’t smell the decaying fish; I agree that he’s probably just curious as to what was put into the spot where the dirt is loose.

Now I understand why human remains are buried six feet under.
LOL

Farley just wants to say bye.

That was the reason people used to pile rocks on graves.

Isn’t it traditional to bury a fish “at sea?” That’s what we always do with ours!
