Uh, GEE1A, wrong kind of excitement. I don’t think she’d like Dr. Christ-Complex OR running for her life from molten Succubus guts.

What’s Connie saying? She watches TV when she’s supposed to be taking care of patients?

Drystyha how did you deduce that Connie works in a position directly involved with patient care? Also, if she works fulltime, then she is allowed some breaks–during which she can watch the moron-box.

Perhaps Connie should take up skydiving?

Connie probably looks for handsome dogs at the hospital where she works at.

Whine, whine, whine. I can’t understand how Ellie put up with this pity party for three decades. But I’m beginning to see why her first husband left, and Phil disappeared over the hill.

Connie probably means that when she’s at work, there’s no time to check out handsome guys, or perhaps that she doesn’t come into contact with any handsome guys when she’s at work. The only way she can check out handsome guys in a hospital setting is when she’s watching them on a tv show (like ER) at home.

Connie is FAR from unusual in her situation. Among the single women over 35 that I know, the most common complaint is that it’s very hard to find good single men.

I’m sorry… I just don’t like FBOFW anymore. I didn’t comment in the early transition because I wanted to give it a good college try. And it’s not even the artwork, I’ve sort of come to accept its’ simplicity– but the humor isn’t good anymore– not even poignant. It’s just tired. And it makes me sad! I miss it…

Y’all do realise that most of the comics we’ve been reading are reprints right? She started running the series over with some minor changes. So it makes sense that some of it would feel out of date to us. The strip’s something like 30 years old.

Some of us ‘handsome guys’ come in as patients, too, y’know…..(unfortuantely for the guys)
