   I started reading this comic strip about 6 years ago and I had no idea that Michael knew Deanna all the way back in grade-school. That’s sweet!!

    Awesome!! Unfortunately, I missed all the episodes regarding their courtship. I can relive them now when we catch up to that part, or maybe I’ll try to find the originals. It must have been some story!

    I’ll fill you in on the courtship (if you have original strips from 1990, you can read it; otherwise, wait about 11 years).

    Mike&Dee’s courtship started about the time that Elly found herself pregnant with April. Priceless how, when she wanted to advise him, he mockingly pointed at her belly and asked if she was planning to talk about birth-control!

    The way I understand it, there will be no future strips of an older Michael. This time around, the family will stay a young one with little kids…not age like last time.

    Ah, I am definitely sure that those strips of FBorFW would be becoming the “Family Photo” books that we should treasure and look them in the past as we remembered we saw those strips before. It would be so bittersweet. :-)

    Yes in the older strips Micheal knew Deanna. However at the end of his 1rst or 2nd grade she moved away. He did not see her again till he went to university. They literally “ran into each other” She was in a car accident and he was with his friend Weed and they were writing a story about it.

    When Elly was pregnant with April Micheal was dating a girl named Martha, not Deeana. After Martha it was Rheta.
