Since its debut in 1979, For Better or For Worse has touched comic strip readers as few cartoons ever do. Parents and children alike will relate to the obstacles that the Patterson family faces. Curfews, parent date nights, babysitting, pets and distractions are all hurdles that the Pattersons must overcome in order to enjoy each other as a family. They face the same obstacles that real life families do, which is what makes them so loveable.

Ummm, according to Anthony’s official bio, his mother left his family when he was in elementary school. Maybe this is a stepmother, but something already smells.

No,nothing has to smell. I figure she has been invited to the wedding and has accepted. Unless she is dead, it make sense that she would be tracked down if necessary and given the opportunity to attend. Anthony and Elizabeth are class acts and would do no less. Perhaps there is backstory yet to come. But if invited, I find nothing untoward about her being there.
