To think the Grim Reaper from “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy” has it touch.

Careful. As Piers Anthony fans know all too well, if you kill Death when he comes for you, you get assigned his job.

He’s de-scythed him, but the arms are still intact.

I think Death would know all martial arts. You know, just in case.

The sad part is, the reaper had only come for his DVD player.

Well on “Torchwood: Miracle Day” the Lovecraftian “…even death may die” happens. It isn’t a good thing. Now the unknown species of intelligent, horned reptiles killed death. First biologically then they separated their ethric body from their biological one, then gave it substance to be totally immortal. Just don’t try to find the Nameless city in the trackless desert wastes of Arabia. They still live in that crumbling city they constructed so long ago.

The scythe was just an insignia of office. The touch of the bony finger instigated the actual separation of the self from the body. There will be so many people on this planet, soon that one will be able to take out a franchise on being a part time reaper. (copyright P Colli from way back.)

That’s what I plan on doing! But how many times can you keep getting away with it?
