The illegal part was that it wasn’t regulation spray paint…

Only in a comic strip is the graffiti perpetrator held responsible… in sad, real life the building owner is forced to pay to clean up the mess made by another person.

The sign wouldn’t do any good if you were walking on the sidewalk anyway.

I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be in a logical state of mind while reading the comics.

    Why wouldn’t it be logical?

Why would there be a step in the sidewalk?

So true, near where I live there is a gang area that has daily graffiti and property owners figure why bother cleaning it up, it will be the same way the next day so the city goes in and cleans it for them, then sends them the bill.

The city would probably be responsible for this one, the step in the sidewalk that is. If enough people tripped and starting suing.

In this one small city I visited in Mexico, the sidewalks were an adventure to walk on… in a way it had steps at random spots (like a section that drops down), then other times it was sloped (in front of driveways for the most part). oh the number of times I’ve gone tripping along the sidewalks…
