   Trivia time: Tony Carrillo was a student at Arizona State University; his first comics appeared in the student news paper (the State Press). Occasionally he will refer to places in Tempe, AZ; Ted’s Hot Dogs is at McClintock and Broadway. (Nello’s is a pizza place that gets mention every now and then as well.)

   I found the Arizona Wildcat website many years ago while doing research about comics online
   

   
   For a college newspaper with an all student comics page I was impressed by the talent there
   

   
   I haven’t checked it out in a while, might have to see if they’re still as good
