F Minus is a profoundly funny comic strip that was chosen by more than 200,000 college students as the winner of the "mtvU Strips" contest. Providing daily hilarity since May 2005, F Minus is a strip short on life lessons, precious moments, and pearls of wisdom. Instead, it tackles life's serious issues, pins them to the ground and steals their lunch money. Then it feels a little bit guilty and gives some of it back.

People who put those notices up probably tear off a couple of the number tags just to make it look like they actually have clients.

Nobody EVER takes the tags in sequence. The gaps are always dotted about for some reason.
Re:simpsonfan2 – i’ve once or twice taken one off, when an add is untouched for a while, just because I feel sorry for whoever is trying to sell a 5-volume "History of Duct Tape (illustrated), or advertising a spare room, within a two-hour drive of localamenities, or whatever.

He’s probably using it for toilet paper for an ‘’off-road pit-stop’’.

Once at work a guy had a tag ad up trying to sell some puppies. After a couple of weeks with no tags taken, I started to pull them off every now and then. After awhile he was baffled how all the tags were gone but no one ever called.

Oh! Come on, tell the truth. It was only two days and no one ever called because you took all the tags.
@simpsonfan2 Yes, when using this type of Ad material you must start the process by removing one or two; no one wants to be first.

A reputable breeder wouldn’t advertise that way, anyway. Wish people would have their animals spayed/neutered, or they should have to work in a shelter as the euthanisation tech’s assistant.

No, it was over a couple of weeks, it doesn’t work to pull them off too quickly. But yes, it definitely was me who got all the tags.

I just saw one a few days ago on an outdoor bulletin board. The poster had stapled plastic over the ad to keep it from getting soaked by rain. Also made it impossible to tear off a tag. Duh.

I sold a Toyota that way once, but guitar lessons are the biggest catagory after rooms for rent/room-mate wanted.
