Cartoonists John Gibel and Jenny Campbell have created a spirited and intelligent look at aging and the generation gap. This strip features a group of older women and men dealing with the perils and perks of being old, the rules of chocolate, and dealing with families. Flo and Friends is graceful, poignant, full of humor.

My bank’s parking lot is on the west end of Walmart’s parking lot.
The bus stop is on the street on the north side of Walmart.
One day, I went to the bank to cash a check and I used the south entrance to Walmart.
When I walked by the greeter by the North exit, she told me, ‘You didn’t come in by this door.”
She was not a retired age person like usual and must have been filling in for one that afternoon.
I told her why I came in one door and was leaving by the other.
