I contact for each of his thousand facets on his eyeball?
Those must’ve been pricey.

Garfield’s wiped out the spiders. Now he’s getting rid of
the flies. He has to be much quicker swatting flies though.

Yes, that’s what you get for killing spiders! I never kill them for this very reason.

Mr. Davis ran out of spiders, hm ???

I think he just needed something with compound eyes. As I recall, spiders have several eyes, but they’re not compound.
And to me, at least, that’s one of the funniest strips that’s come out today. Definitely a keeper!

Love the compound eyes gag… at first, I thought the fly was issuing a warning in the first panel, as in “I know people…”.

And they are 1-week-lasting contacts!
Took 3 days to put them on…
Macushlalondra said, 2 months ago
How many eyes do they have anyway?

This is the funniest Garfield I have read in a long time! Great stuff!

I’d say the contacts are the least of that fly’s problems now.

That fly looks just like a squished spider, but with wings.

The spider didn’t say, “You wouldn’t hit a fly wearing contact lenses, would you?”
Garfield today made me think of the joke about a woman who got stopped by a policeman.
He asked to see her driver’s license. He looked at it and said, “Your license says you are supposed to wear glasses when you drive.”’
She replied, “But, Officer, I’ve got contacts!”
He said, “Lady, I don’t care who you know. You are supposed to be wearing glasses!”

LOVE GARFIELD!

Susan001: Spiders have eight legs, and flies have six, so it’s easy to tell the difference.

“You wouldn’t hit a fly with contacts would you?”
“No, I’d hit a fly with a rolled-up newspaper!”
Aurion said, 2 months ago
Would this be a contact sport in the making?

I like how garfield acts in this one…
