At least you’ll have something to do now on the weekends.

Never mind that, apparently it’s your pickin’ and grinnin’ that gets a tad hairy…

Then again some of us do not shave on weekends

Seems a man would hate having prickly hair growing out of his face and want to shave.

Jon’s life & thoughts have now paralleled my own on something. That’s just plain scary.

You gotta clip your toenails, too, Jon!

There is no law that a man even has to shave.
When my father was in the nursing home, I sometimes shaved his beard.
Dad said once, “I don’t know why the Good Lord gave me beard.”
I told him that there is no command in the Bible that a man has to shave.

Hey that can still be said for the unemployed too,… you know. The ones that are suddenly employed?!?!

I don’t have to shave for my lady, but I do get more and better smooches if I do.
Well worth the time.

Uh, Mr. Davis? If you wrote that Jon has to shave on weekends, why didn’t you draw scruff on him? It IS the weekend, you know.

Because he probably just shaved, when he talks to Garfield about it.

The only reason I stopped shaving is I can’t stand to look at my face in the mirror everyday for 10 minutes…
I already have enough going on most days to put me in a bad mood!
Oh and it helps that my wife of 30 years likes my beard. Thank You Sweetie. I’m truly a lucky man!

Back when I shaved, my most careful shave was usually on Sunday for church.
Some people say that they don’t wear beards because of the itching. For me the sting of the cuts from shaving is worse than any whisker itch.
