Did Garfield stop at only 1 fish? There are other fish in the lake.

Just in case you don’t think house cats fish, I had a cat that figured out how to get to the fish in the tank. He’d move the return tube on the water filter so instead of the water going back into the tank, it went onto the floor. I came home to a wet floor, and a cat sitting next to the tank with this ‘What, I didn’t have anything to do with this’ kind of look on his face.

Looks like Garfield needs to fish for his dinner in addition to what Jon feeds him. Wasn’t lasagna enough? Chow hound (sorry Odie)!

Thanks to that comment ladyfinger, we won’t see Odie anymore until the holidays! LOL

Garfield is very sensitive about his weight. Calling him “fat boy” is insulting. Good for him for getting his revenge. That particular fish will never call him “fat boy” again.

Cats hate water.
Garfield is a cat, ergo
Garfield hates water
… but…
The fish is calling him fat.
… ergo…
Garfield hates MORE to be called fat than he hates water.

If Garfield comes up missing, we know where to find him. At least until the fish supply has been depleted!

Although it didn’t show Garfield diving in I have seen one of my cats dive into my outside goldfish pond and come out with one in her mouth. I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes.

My cat Boots loves water, is fascinated by movement, and is smart enough to open bedroom and cupboard doors.
My lady friend has a fishtank.
We have been wondering how we are ever going to keep him out of the fish if we move in together.

If I were Jon, I’d go, “Was there rain today? I thought the forecast was going to be sunny all day.”

Good for a nice snort! Somehow I’ve transposed several people into that fish… Oh Garfield, are you busy?
Wildmustang1262 said, 4 months ago
Did Garfield swallow the big fish instead of holding big fish in his mouth too long? Just like pelican!
